When Weekly Therapy Isn't Enough, Trust Our Outpatient Mental Health Care | With TRICARE Coverage Options
IOP Services is an outpatient program of structured, consistent therapy and clinical support for people experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, and PTSD. Our program helps stabilize symptoms and get you feeling like you again. We proudly work with TRICARE and understand the unique needs of military members and their families.
- 9 hours a week of group-based care
- Program lasts ~12 weeks
- Attend group sessions in-person or virtually
“You can attend sessions virtually nationwide or in person at four locations (Birmingham, Huntsville, Chattanooga, Charlotte).
Who We Treat
We work with active duty service members, veterans, and military families navigating high-stress transitions and mental health challenges. Our program works to stabilize symptoms of:
- PTSD and other trauma-related conditions
- Anxiety disorders
- Major depressive disorder
- Bipolar disorder and mood instability
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Other significant mood or anxiety-related challenges
We do not provide treatment for patients experiencing active psychosis, psychiatric emergencies requiring inpatient care, or primary substance use disorders that need addiction treatment. In most cases, Medicare and Medicaid will not cover the services that IOP provides.
Bridging the Gap in Mental Health Treatment for Military Families
You know you need to get your mental health to a more stable place—and you want to—but once-a-week therapy isn’t enough. Between deployments, relocations, and the responsibility of supporting your family or unit, you can’t just drop everything to stay in a hospital for inpatient psychiatric care for a week (or more).
We understand how frustrating it is to need a higher level of support but never find an option that fits your life. IOP Services helps you bridge that gap with structured care that works within your responsibilities, not against them.
Structured Support That Fits Your Life
More Support Than Weekly Therapy
Our program provides 9 hours of structured therapy each week, offering consistent support and skill-building beyond once-a-week sessions, so you can stabilize and stay fully present in your responsibilities.
Stay Connected to Your Current Providers
We coordinate your care with your current therapist, psychiatrist, or TRICARE-approved providers to support your overall treatment plan without disrupting the care you already have in place.
Flexible In-Person and Virtual Options
With in-person and virtual options, you can access structured mental health support wherever you are, making it easier to stay consistent through relocations, schedule changes, or time away from home.
