How Our Intensive Outpatient Program Works

Program participants receive structured mental health treatment built for people who need more support than weekly therapy can provide but do not require inpatient hospitalization.

Typically, patients attend three 3-hour sessions per week for around 12 weeks, participating in structured group therapy designed to stabilize symptoms and build effective coping skills.

Adult Intensive Outpatient Program

Our Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) serves persons age 18 and older who experience anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, and related conditions.

Participants attend three 3-hour therapy sessions per week, typically for about 12 weeks in total. Treatment includes structured group therapy, skill-building, emotional regulation strategies, and evidence-based approaches designed to stabilize symptoms and support actual progress.

Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program

Our adolescent IOP offers evidence-based therapy for teens experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, or mood instability. The program provides intensive clinical support that still allows students to remain in school and continue their studies.

Through a combination of group therapy, individual support, and skill development, teens better learn coping strategies, emotional regulation, and tools for managing especially difficult periods.

Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program

Our virtual Intensive Outpatient Program provides the same structured treatment model as our in-person programs in a secure online format.

Adults and adolescents can participate in therapy sessions from home while continuing to work, go to school, and fulfill family responsibilities; our program makes intensive care more accessible and flexible for more people.

Collaborative Care

Our program works alongside your existing therapist or psychiatrist whenever possible, providing additional support during difficult periods without disrupting your long-term treatment plan or your relationship with your doctor or provider.

Clinician-Led and Quality-Focused

Our program is designed and led by experienced mental health professionals who prioritize ethical care, clinical quality, and meaningful patient outcomes for everyone who walks through our doors or joins our sessions virtually.
