Our treatment programs are led by experienced mental health professionals dedicated to providing thoughtful, structured care.

Our team includes licensed clinicians who specialize in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, and mood disorders through Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs).

We believe effective treatment comes from a combination of clinical expertise, collaboration, and compassion. Our staff works closely with each participant to create a supportive environment focused on stability, progress, and long-term well-being.

Clinical Leadership

Daniel Crow

PhD, LCMHCA | Vice President of Development | North Carolina

Daniel Crow provides group therapy in virtual multi-state groups and in-person groups in North Carolina. He also supports program development at IOP Services through clinical quality initiatives, including measurement-based care implementation, outcomes review, and curriculum development.

Daniel specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders and has a particular interest in the power of group therapy to support lasting interpersonal change. In group settings, Daniel helps clients identify unhelpful relational patterns and experiment with new ways of relating to others. He is deeply committed to measurement-based care, using validated assessment tools to monitor progress and guide treatment.

Daniel is licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas. He completed his counseling training at Wake Forest University and holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin.

Licensed Clinicians

Melanie Cole

PhD, LPC | Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee

Melanie Cole is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and holds certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She has a master’s degree in education and a doctorate in psychotherapy, with over 25 years of experience in a wide range of settings.

Melanie has spent all her life supporting military soldiers and has a particular passion to help those who serve and have served in the armed forces. She also has lengthy experience treating first responders in their struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Melanie has developed the skills to integrate various modalities of therapy into her role as an individual and group facilitator; these include but are not limited to: Humanistic, Positive Psychology, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Using these methods, she guides individuals in identifying problem areas, setting reasonable goals, and offering the necessary support to achieve desired outcomes.

In her free time, Melanie enjoys sports, travel, and music, as well as spending time with her husband, three children, and Bernedoodle (Duke).

Crystal Ransom

LCSW | Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee

Crystal is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with six years of clinical experience. She has worked with children, adults, and individuals who have endured very serious adversity in an outpatient setting. Crystal is a compassionate and empathetic therapist who is skilled at helping patients identify problem areas and teaching them to set practical and realistic goals in order to achieve real progress.

Crystal enjoys spending time with her two kids, reading, and watching sports.

Brandon Swaim

LMFT | Alabama & Tennessee

Brandon is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 12 years of experience in multiple formats. He has experience in both outpatient and residential settings. And has worked for both private practice and non-profit groups, assisting individuals, groups, couples, and families. Inspired by his Christian faith, he is highly motivated to help others in the therapeutic setting.

Brandon is a proud license holder in multiple states. He is originally from Alabama, but now lives in Tennessee with his wife and dogs.

Keiana Alexander Willis

LMFT | Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Keiana works alongside individuals, couples, families, and children to provide care for mental health needs. She has worked in the outpatient setting for nearly a decade, and her experience ranges from private practice to non-profit to therapeutic foster care. She is a proud member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy, as well as the Alabama Association of Marriage & Family Therapy.

Keiana is deeply committed to her work. She feels called to serve people, whether in the clinical setting or in the church. She and her husband live in Alabama with their beloved dog and new baby boy.

Amber Holly

LMFT | Birmingham, AL

Amber is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate with four years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families. She approaches therapy with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a deep belief in the importance of connection and self-awareness.

Amber enjoys working alongside clients to help them let go of unhelpful patterns, build stronger relationships, and discover more empowered and authentic ways of living.

She’s also a proud University of Alabama alumna!

Tara Pink

ALC | Alabama

Tara has worked in the mental health field for nearly two decades, initially at the residential level of care and later in outpatient, PHP, and IOP levels of care. Although she enjoys working with people individually and with families, she has most enjoyed facilitating groups. She has experience leading groups on a number of topics, including DBT and CBT skills, relapse prevention, relational, movement, and body image.

Tara strongly believes recovery occurs in communities, and groups provide a first step to being a part of a community where healing can begin. She enjoys being able to assist people in gaining insight, support, and connection with others through their shared experiences.

Outside of counseling, Tara also enjoys spending time with her kiddo, reading research, science fiction films, chess, and other board games.

Hannah Alexander

ALC | Alabama

Hannah Alexander is an Associate Licensed Counselor who provides compassionate care to individuals navigating life’s challenges. She has experience working in residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient care.

She is most passionate about leading groups. She offers a warm, person-centered approach utilizing evidence-based theories, including CBT, DBT, and IFS. This allows clients to feel supported, understood, and empowered in their journey toward growth and healing.

Outside of giving therapy, Hannah enjoys spending quality time with her family, painting, and playing mahjong.
