We serve a wide variety of patients.

Our typical patients suffer from mental health disorders that have caused severe disruptions to their lives. While some of our patients are already under the care of a therapist and/or psychiatrist, others come to us having never before received care.

Basically, we provide the advantages of an intensive program without the typical restrictions. In other words, if weekly therapy just isn’t enough, but 24/7 hospitalization seems like far too much, we might be just what you need.

In terms of mental health disorders, our patients suffer from a wide variety of ailments. To name just a few: anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder. While some of our patients do suffer with alcoholism and drug abuse issues, we are NOT a substance use disorder (SUD) clinic. We will not treat individuals suffering from addiction issues unless it is clear that said issues are due to a more serious, underlying mental health disorder.

Our patients’ ages range anywhere from 18 to 64. While we do serve patients ages 65 and older, we currently do not accept Medicare. And we recommend that minors seek care from a childhood/adolescent behavior specialist.

Yes, we accept most major commercial health insurance providers, including Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna, Humana, Optum, Tricare, United, and more.

The program is 3 days per week. Each day consists of a 3-hour group session, for 9 hours total per week. In-person groups meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Virtual groups meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We have morning groups (9am to Noon), afternoon groups (1pm to 4pm), and evening groups (virtual only, 5pm to 8pm).

The length of treatment varies by patient. However, a typical course of treatment at IOP Services lasts around twelve weeks.

Generally, our patients have existing relationships with a therapist and/or psychiatrist. Such professionals refer patients to us when standard treatment is not adequate.

However, that is not always the case. If you think our program may be beneficial to you, feel free to contact us. We want to help you find the treatment you need, whether it’s with us or not.

At the end of our program, patients typically return to a regular course of treatment with their established therapist and psychiatrist. For patients that enter our program without established professional clinicians, we will formulate post-treatment plans for them, which often includes regular appointments with a therapist and psychiatrist.

Of course! You can reach us a few different ways.

The easiest option is probably via phone. We answer immediately in most cases.

Our number is: (205) 999-5247
