Bios

Dr. Godehard Oepen is an accomplished, research-focused Neurologist and Psychiatrist, with an international background. He studied medicine in Europe before continuing his research and clinical activities at Harvard. His work is widely published in books and peer-reviewed journals.

For the last two decades, Dr. Oepen has served as a clinical psychiatrist in Birmingham, Alabama where he has conducted outcome studies, built a CME program, and provided psychiatric care in a Partial Hospital Program. He partners with other clinicians in the private practice setting to provide patients the most effective healing treatments available, whether it be targeted-medication or therapy. Dr. Oepen was born and raised in West-Germany, but is now involved in his Alabama community.
