For more than two decades, Martha Furio has practiced clinical social work and psychiatric care in a variety of forms, including partial hospitalization programs (PHP), in-home therapy, inpatient psychiatry, and private practice. She is deeply passionate about treating mentally ill patients with respect and dignity.
Martha embraces a mind, body, and spirit approach to therapy. She is uniquely in tune with her patients’ needs, which allows her to carefully select the most beneficial treatment modalities for each individual. She is also experienced in facilitating (and participating in) group therapy.
Aside from helping others achieve personal wellness, Martha enjoys reading, spending time with family, traveling, and spoiling her precious dog Poppy.
